Abstract

Solid-state crystalline raman lasers continue to evolve as practical and efficient laser sources, efficiently generating output with a diverse range of temporal formats and at wavelengths from the UV to the infrared. In this chapter, we provide the background information required to design efficient crystalline lasers, give an overview of the field, and highlight exciting new developments.
