Abstract
We developed a randomly-coupled 19-core fiber with standard 125-μm cladding diameter with spatial mode dispersion of 10.8ps/√km, enabling a data rate of 1.7 Pb/s, the highest reported amongst optical fibers with standard cladding diameter.
