Abstract
The construction of the Bodmer 'Miscellaneous' or 'Composite' codex presents a number of challenges. The codicological descriptions provided by the first editors were sometimes inadequate and published photographic plates and facsimiles have been of insufficient quality and number. A thorough review of the publications along with autopsy inspection and access to high-quality digital images of parts of the codex has brought to light new evidence concerning a missing leaf of P.Bodm. XIII, the structure of the codicological unit consisting of P.Bodm. XX+IX, and an earlier phase of use for P.Bodm. VIII.
