Abstract

A technique is presented to reduce the computation time for the evaluation of the impedance matrix for Method of Moments (MoM) discretization of the integral equation formulation of antenna and scattering problems. With this technique, only a fraction of the required matrix entries are computed exactly, while the rest is derived through an approximation scheme. Although more general, this technique is described here for printed structures on plane-stratified media, and an application to a microstrip line with coupled dipole is presented.
