    Abstract

Significant spetrum efficiency and system fairness can be obtained by employing scheduling schemes based on precoding techniques. However, QoS guarantee requirements are seldom taken into account. A downlink scheduling algorithm was proposed for multiple user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems with limited feedback. To maximize the overall capacity and reduce co-channel interference (CCI), streams were selected in accordance with precoding matrices. Multi-user packet scheduling was carried out for both primary streams and secondary streams, thus effectively exploiting spatial multiplexing gains. Numerical results show that, the algorithm can achieve higher spectrum efficiency, while guaranteeing QoS requirements of services.
