Abstract

The Robogotchi is anemoticon robot. This robot has facial expression, can produce sound, can be fed by special Robogotchi food and can also move. This system uses graphic LCD 12864 to display the expression in this robot, motor and the driver motor to move the robot; RF-id (Radio Frequency Identification) system to detect some of the special food for Robogotchi, infrared sensors to detect body movement or objects, and touch sensor to know if someone touches this robot. This system uses dry-cell battery to give the power to all system and it has the battery indicator to indicate if the battery is low power and need to recharge. The design of this Robogotchisystem is based on ATMEL AT89C51 microcontroller. The programming language and software used in this system isthe assembler for Atmel Microcontroller.
