    Abstract

The rubidium and strontium contents of dunite DTS-1 and peridotite PCC-1 and of rubidium in a standard pyroxene Px-1 have been measured by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and by isotope dilution. Both techniques are useful in determining low concentrations of these elements.
