Abstract

One of the most important aspects in communication is “security”. The paper lays out a classification model based on XGBoost algorithm that can be used in Intrusion Detection Systems to detect and ultimately filter out mischievous data. The IDS can be used to alert the administrator and act as an important feature in modern technologies such as IoTs, 5G and others. The XGBoost algorithm is well suited to cloud networking and the paper presents the fact that it generates high accuracy in detecting data.
