Abstract

Today mobile devices are increasingly being used to provide health related information to healthcare related services on the Internet. However such devices have limited resources to enforce strong security measures and are easily vulnerable to attacks. In this paper we propose techniques for counteracting denial of service attacks on mobile devices that are providing the user's health related information and for securing the communication between mobile nodes and healthcare service providers on the Internet.
