    Abstract

    This chapter provides a brief history of medical student selection and then describesthe development and analysis of the method of selection in a new medical school inAustralia. The development of a method of student selection made use of current thinkingaround high quality selection procedures. These discussions provide an insight into thefuture developments in relation to selecting the best students to become the bestpractitioners.
