A substantial catalogue for the touring exhibition "Selling an American Dream: Australia's Greek Cafe" with essays by Angelo Loukakis, Lex Marinos, Robert McFarlane and Effy Alexakis and Leonard Janiszewski. The exhibition and essays provide a unique insight into the transnational influences and historical and contemporary development of icon Greek food-catering institutions in Australia: the Greek-runcafe, milk bar, takeaway and their predecessors, the soda parlour, sundae parlour and oyster saloon.
