Abstract

Nucleotides obtained from alkaline hydrolysis of yeast and tissue RNA were separated by a 15-min electrophoresis on cellulose acetate membranes and assayed spectrophotometrically in microcells. The lower limit for analysis of each nucleotide was about 0.15 μg and the reproducibility of measurement was ±3%.
