Abstract

A basis for developing a simple-to-use multiphase-pressure-drop correlation that could be applied to the design or assessment of pipelines with flows of oil and gas mixtures was established. Simple correlations for predicting the pressure drop are proposed and tested with a data bank from the oil industry.
