Abstract
The German Archaeological Institute and the Swiss Institute for Architectural and Archaeological Research conducted the 31st and 32nd campaigns at Elephantine from mid-October 2001 until mid-April 2002 and from October 2002 until mid-April 2003. The priority of the campaigns was the further study of finds from previous seasons and the architectural elements of the temple of Khnum as well as the reconstruction of Roman temple Y. Field work was carried out in the central area and the southwestern approaches of the Old Kingdom town and the temple of Khnum.
