title = "Stakeholder perspectives on open health data: a cross-sectional analysis",
abstract = "Open data sharing is a novel but rapidly growing concept within the global scientific community because of the reusablity and redistributabilty by anyone with minimum to no restrictions. Stakeholders were identified using homogenous convenience sampling methods and questionnaires were distributed. Over 50\% of the participants were not very knowledgeable about the open data concept or regulations and policies. However, the majority were in favour of anonymised health data sharing and having access to such data. An Open Data Portal provides open access to datasets generated within the healthcare sector which will benefit the scientific community, improving transparency, and better healthcare.",
