    Abstract

Mia-Mia Child and Family Centre is the demonstration centre of the Institute of Early Childhood at Macquarie University, Sydney. In this last Chapter, we share stories about the everyday experiences of the young children in this early childhood educational setting. These stories offer glimpses of the complexity of children's thinking, their relationships and their play. The stories also reveal the complex role of their teachers as observers, facilitators, guides and researchers.
