Abstract
Inquiry into nuclear power generation in Australia: Submission 782.
This submission provides a high-level overview of the various issues concerning nuclear power generation in Australia, bringing together the various facets into a single issues-based submission. These include reactor safety and technology, siting of nuclear power generation facilities, economics of nuclear power generation, integrating nuclear power into the National Electricity Market (NEM), regulatory reform, and radioactive waste management.
This submission is the collective knowledge of the authors regarding the implementation of nuclear power generation in Australia. Some of the authors of this submission have also submitted individual or organisational submissions. Please refer to these individual submissions for greater detail.
