Abstract
(Figure Presented) Varying the time between adding a costructure-directing agent and a silica source to an anionic surfactant template results in either well-ordered cubic or a novel tetragonal (P42/mnm) mesocage material by arrangement of micellar spheres of various sizes. The image shows the high-resolution transmission electron micrograph of the tetragonal structure and the corresponding electron diffraction pattern (inset).
