    Abstract

This paper will focus on one aspect of cultural exchange between the central Adriatic Dalmatian islands and the Roman world: the cult of Silvanus. Like many other Roman cults, it presents an opportunity to observe interactions between Roman imperial aspects of the cult and its reception in local settings.
