Abstract

A survey, illustrated by 38 stratigraphic columns, is presented for stratigraphic realignments that have resulted from biostratigraphic research, mainly over the past decade, on Devonian sequences in eastern Australia, particularly from initiatives in conodont biostratigraphy. Also presented are ramifications of such re-alignments on understanding of the transgression-regression pattern.
