Abstract
Political geography, as such, plays little part in A-level and Scottish Higher courses. However, political considerations weigh heavily on government decision making so they need to be taken into account in the study of social, economic and regional questions. The authors consider the widening North-South divide in Great Britain in its political context. -from Authors
