This study generates insights into the experiences of younger veterans’ physical, social and cultural environments and their health, resilience and mobility patterns when transitioning into civilian life. It makes a significant contribution to our understanding of the appropriate interventions necessary to assist individual veterans to pro-actively maintain physical and mental resilience in place and achieve a strong sense of well being with their family and community support network.
