Abstract
The article discusses the crisis in Europe. According to the author, the euro crisis is not just caused by debt but more on political opportunism and complacency. Moreover, the author notes that the magnificent civilisation, imposing history, and the achievements of post-War integration of Europe are not enough to ensure continued prosperity.
