    Abstract

'The hosts' consisted of five larger than life sized autonomous robots that recall an 18th century masquerade ball. The masquerade of artificial intelligence is explored here through audience involvement within the robotic ball. It was also exhibited at The 2nd International Biennale of Contemporary Art, Poland, 2010 and John Buckley Gallery, Melbourne, 2011.
