The new common core of knowledge, skills and culture – is France getting it right?

Abstract

This poster presentation reviews the educational and monitoring requirements of home-schooling policies under French, English and European Union Law, as well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It suggests that the comprehensive French system is best able to protect the rights of the child and meet the international objects of education.
