Abstract
Invited contribution in honour of Professor Jiro Kondo, Waseda University, Japan - The Theban tomb TT 148 houses a large anthropoid sarcophagus decorated and inscribed with funerary texts.Their content, quality, preservation and relevance are the focus of this chapter. Work from the on-going Macquarie Theban Tombs Project is presented.
