    Abstract

Theology has traditionally originated from the pulpit or the lecture hall. For Christians seeking to live out their faith in Australian society a new kind of theologizing is necessary. Since 1976 the Zadok Institute for Christianity and Society has been supporting this kind of theological writing and reflection – grounded in the workplaces and cafes frequented by Christians between Monday and Saturday. On the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of Zadok this collection of essays presents both inclusive analysis and reflective storytelling by the scattered people of God from a variety of vocational and cultural contexts.
