Abstract

This article attempts to conceptualise and review the multiple possible structuring influences on human resource management (HRM or HR) practices in the foreign subsidiaries of multinational companies (MNCs) using a multi-disciplinary framework. The main aim is to develop a more conceptually complete model of the various likeley influences on MNC subsidiary HRM practices and locate them within a broadly focused set of literatures.
