Treating allergic rhinitis

Abstract

Allergic rhinitis is defined as inflammation of the membranes lining the nose and is characterised by nasal congestion, rhinnorrhea, sneezing, itching of the nose and/or postnasal drainage. Although one of several types of rhinitis, it is the most common affecting approximately 50 per cent of rhinitis patients.
