Abstract
This paper presents a new approach for mobile agent security - trust enhanced security and develops MobileTrust -a novel trust management architecture to support the trust enhanced security solutions for mobile agent applications. In this new approach we go beyond traditional security mechanism based architectural design by incorporating a trust model into the underlying security architecture. A prototype of the proposed architecture has been successfully implemented and integrated with Aglets - IBM's mobile agent platform. Experimental tests on the prototype confirm the emergent properties of trust enhanced security performance.
