    Abstract

The aphids Dysaphis aucupariae (Buckton) and Pentalonia gavarri Eastop are recorded for the first time from Australia. The Australian aphid fauna comprises about 140 known species (Eastop 1966a; Carver 1976, 1980; Anon. 1978), to which 2 more can now be added.
