N2 - The findings on evaluation questionnaire conducted in January 2010 in special vocational schools in Finland, Lithuania, and Hungary, are presented. 23 teachers participated in the study using SEVERI, a special needs education e-learning environment, with 394 students in various vocational courses during the period 2007-09. The evaluation questionnaire was conducted among teacher-practitioners to evaluate to what extent the SEVERI e-learning environment supports and improves daily pedagogical interactions. The research question, 'Does SEVERI support and improve daily pedagogical work in special vocational schools?', was studied. It was found that providing students with guidance in their learning on the job with the assistance of SEVERI was regarded by teachers as useful. Among the most important roles and functions of as e-learning environment found by teachers are improvement of planning and organization of teaching and improved networking and collaboration with professionals and parents.
