Abstract
A semi-analytical model was presented to describe the evolution of screw phase-dislocations of wave front in seeded second harmonic generation geometries with seed signals in the form of focused Gaussian beams with nested vortices. The number of vortices existing in the second-harmonic beam were shown to be dependent on the topological charge, propagation length inside the crystal and width and intensity of the pump and seed signals.
