Abstract

The web-based project cost monitoring system (PCMS) for the construction management is discussed. PCMS is a detector of potential risks and hazards in cost management and plays a vital role in preventing budget cost overturns. PCMS adopts the cost control and monitoring management model as the basis for its design development and hence enables effective cost management.
