Where do cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders fit in dimensional models of psychopathology?

Research output: Working paperPreprint

Abstract

This book chapter considers answers to three questions about where cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders fit into dimensional models of psychopathology: Can and should dimensional models of personality and psychopathology include cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders? Do we need to think of different kinds of hierarchical models to account for such problems? How can individual differences in personality and cognition be integrated to generate an efficient and effective diagnostic scheme?
