Abstract
A quadrature local oscillator (LO) generator using only CMOS transistors produces quadrature outputs with a phase error of less than 2 degrees over 200MHz to 950MHz from a single phase input. The circuit uses a novel multiple-stage topology with inverters as phase delay elements.
