Chapter Objectives:
1. To examine the growth of women-owned businesses over the last decade
2. To discuss some of the most important factors that account for the success of women entrepreneurs
3. To explain some of the future challenges faced by women entrepreneurs
4. To highlight the cross-cultural characteristics of indigenous entrepreneurship amongst the Mäori of New Zealand and the aboriginal peoples of Australia.
5. To review some of the future challenges that face minority entrepreneurs in the new millennium.
