    Abstract

A book on migration - that of Lithuanian-descended Jews (Litvaks) from South Africa to Australia and New Zealand. Based on a survey of 608 respondents, it describes something of the life of their Lithuanian forebears, both there and in South Africa; the anti-Semitic forces in South Africa that might have propelled migration but didn't; and more.
