Abstract
The application of cryptographic transformations for the purpose of enhancing security in data base system is considered. This problem is treated with the aid of a multilevel model of data base organization. Attention is paid to the influence of semantic connections between data base elements on the cryptographic transformation. Estimates are made of the break probability of cipher for a particular rule of cryptographic transformations on condition that semantic connections between data base element are known.
