This project aims to pioneer the system and network development between aerial (AD) and underwater drone (UD) technology by integrating AI-powered smart navigation to enable real-time 3D imaging, target tracking, and data collection. This integrated approach will bridge the gap between aerial and underwater data collection methods and provide comprehensive and accurate data, enhancing monitoring capabilities in marine environments. Anticipated outcomes include adaptive tracking, which improves situational awareness and monitoring accuracy. This project offers benefits in aquaculture and environmental monitoring, mapping, and surveying, infrastructure inspection (e.g., wind farm, pipelines, oil rigs, cables), and marine resource management.
